Information for College Bound Student-Athletes

The Brownsburg High School Athletic Department would like to assist student-athletes and parents who are interested in making the transition to playing at the college level.  The number of athletes from BHS going on to play at the college level has never been higher.  The website links below can provide information to make this process simpler and less stressful.

Below are links to the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA sanctioning bodies that provide information, guidelines, and academic requirements for each level and division.

We also highly recommend the book, “Athletes Wanted” by Chris Krause. This book covers topics for high school students and their parents on “maximizing athletic scholarship and life potential.” The author guides parents and students through the recruiting process and does a great job answering the most frequently asked questions and concerns.
